  1. What is the length of a MarketBase workshop or clinic?

    • A workshop is usually held on one day and involves a 5 to 8 hour focus on a limited number of client needs. For instance, conducting an abbreviated property inspection; brainstorming for a new (or updated) strategic marketing plan; discussing a specific marketing tool such as a logo, special event or marketing packet, etc. 2 to 5 client participants is the best scenario.

    • A clinic typically takes 3 to 10 days, depending on the client's need and the number of attendees. Reviewing an existing marketing plan or laying the base for an updated (or new) plan; a property inspection/critique; and strategy sessions. 3 to 7 clients participants is best.
  2. Where are the clinics and workshops typically held and what type of setting is best?

    • We can work in your conference room or, if available, a vacant space in the subject property equipped with enough tables and chairs for attendees; easels (or railings) to hold oversized pads; markers; bulletin boards (or walls that can accommodate tape, tacks or other means of hanging presentation papers and other planning items).
  3. What can one expect to accomplish in a MarketBase clinic?

    • That CRE marketers identify the 3Ps of property marketing: People, Property and Process and better understand how they can contribute to bottom line profitabilty. Through brainstorming and discussion, we identify areas of concern an/or weaknesses that should be strengthened. Together, we develop a realistic preliminary plan of action with responsibilities and timeframes.

      • People Power: Who is responsible for marketing your property? Why? What are their roles, levels of experience and expertise? Who are the support players on your team? Who are the influencers?
      • Property: This is your most powerful promotional tool! Together, we'll inspect and critique the property, and discuss how to emphasize the positive. Competitive points, and modify or minimize what's not.
      • Process: Here's where we talk about the marketing plan. We'll discuss your strategies and goals and review your existing plan--or lay the base for developing a new (updated) one. We examine competitive conditions and market nuances. We talk in detail about tools and techniques, offering tips where appropriate for:
